Are you planning to buy some land for development? When you purchase large amounts of land to break up into lots outside of the city limits, one thing that you need to do is have environmental testing done in the way of a basic home water test. This type of environmental testing will tell you whether the water is safe to drink.

One of the dangers of buying land outside of city limits is that you will need to have your own drinking water supply. Because your land is out in the country, there is a good chance the water supply is contaminated by pesticides and other chemicals that farmers use to produce crops. Even if the farm you are near is organic, it may have previously been subjected to high doses of chemicals that can make the drinking water in the area unsafe to consume. Have these tests done before you even purchase the land so that you know whether you can build on it or not.
